Med en bas i koreografi kom [ e s c ] att utvecklas till ett tvärdisciplinärt och modulärt konstverk som utforskar eskapism som begrepp och tillstånd där bland annat logiken hos algoritmer och sociala medier inspirerat den koreografiska undersökningen. Verket består av fem delar, som tillsammans utgör [e s c] även om varje modul kan ses och upplevas för sig.

[e s c]
[e s c] is a multimodal work that explores escapism as a concept and state of mind. [e s c] takes as its starting point the need for pause and imagination but also how technology and algorithms transform or change our escapist tendencies. Instead of focusing on what is good or bad, [e s c] explores both dystopian and utopian ideas linked to our need for escape from reality. The work takes the visitor on a journey through different emotional states and expressions that make the visitor question who is looking at whom and at what.
The work - with its various parts has been shown at among others Stadsgårdsterminalen, Site/Specific Festival, Freyja på söder, Stockholm Fringe Festival, Dublin Arts and Human Rights Festival in Dublin, Ireland and Estrad Norr and Scenkonstdagarna in Östersund 2023-2024 or Kulturfestivalen 2024.
[e s c] _dance performance won Innovation In Performance at Stockholm Fringe Festival 2023 and [e s c] _dance film premiered and played at Taiwan Dance Platform, Kaohsiung Center for the Arts in Weiwuying 2024.
